About Lilia Lee

Lilia C. Lee is the person, shaman practitioner, and author behind www.liliaclee.com. She writes romantic stories that are not formulaic. Lilia delves beneath the veneer people present to the world, poking into their secrets, motivations, and deepest desires. She creates characters that make her readers laugh, cry, and love.

And writing about herself in the third person makes her feel like a lunatic. Ahem, where were we?

From an early age, Lilia dreamed of creating worlds out of her dreams. Stories that would sweep her readers to places, emotions, situations they’d never experienced before. Characters that readers create a bond with and crave to know more about them. Afraid her words weren’t good enough; she wrote for herself for a long time… until she realized that it was time to realize the dream!

She’s been a teacher, controller, entrepreneur, and followed other left-brained paths. Tired of not using her Spirit-given creativity, she decided one day to follow her muse. Thus, giving up her practice as a business coach to write full time, without a backward glance. Lilia thanks Spirit for her experiences as they enabled her to observe people, imagining stories about them, and then writing those stories down

Lilia Lee was born in Cuba, grew up in New York City’s Upper West Side, where she learned to speak English. She moved out of the City in her late twenties, and now lives in North Carolina, just north of Greensboro, amid mature trees and hawks.

She lives with her husband of many years. And has two adult sons, two lovely daughters-in-law and a mini-me of a granddaughter, Savannah, who proves that genes do skip generations.

She loves writing, reading, listening to eclectic music, and taking long walks among the lovely trees that surround her home. Today she aspires to create art with fabric, a skill she hopes to develop in the next year.
